担当校は、長者中学校をベーススクールに、東中学校、美保野中学校、長者小学校、図南小学校、番屋小学校、町畑小学校、旭ヶ丘小学校、美保野小学校です。
Hello!! My name’s Joe and I’m a new ALT in Hachinohe.
This is my first time in Japan, which is very different from my home country England.
It has been a very steep learning curve learning a new language, trying new food and
making new friends. I enjoy studying languages – at university I studied French – but
Japanese is a lot more difficult!
I came to Japan, as I knew it would be a challenge for me.
I was an ALT before in France so this is not my first time away from home, but I have
always lived in the countryside so living in Hachinohe is a different way of life.
I am happy living here because there is plenty to do in Hachinohe, plus the surrounding
countryside is beautiful.
I especially like the Tanesashi coastline, Towada-ko and Hakkoda-san.
The photo is of me at Okunakayama in Iwate-ken – along with football (soccer),
my favourite sport is snowboarding.
Whilst in Japan I would like to learn to speak Japanese well and
snowboard every mountain in Tohoku!!

こんにちわ。私の名前はジョーです。新しい八戸市のALTです。
日本に来たのは初めてで，母国のイングランドとは大変異なっています。
新しい言葉を習うこと，新しい食べ物を食べることや新しい友達をつくることはむずかしいです。
私は言葉を習うことが楽しいです。大学ではフランス語を学びました。
しかし，日本語はもっとむずかしいです。
日本に来ましたが，日本語の勉強は自分にとって1つの挑戦であることは知っておりました。
以前フランスでもALTをしていました。だから，母国を離れるのは最初ではありません。私はいつも地方に住んでいたため，八戸の生活は違った生活になります。
八戸ではたくさんすることがあって，ここに住めて幸せです。そして，八戸の周辺はとてもきれいです。特に種差海岸，十和田湖と八甲田山が好きです。
この写真は岩手県の奥中山高原での写真です。私の大好きなスポーツはスノーボード，フットボール（サッカー）です。日本語を話せるように勉強したいです。また，東北のすべての山でスノーボードをしたいです。
