Hello Everyone,
My name is Matthew Smith. I come from a state called Connecticut in the USA. Connecticut is between the two cities of Boston and New York. I have worked as an ALT in Hachinohe for the past two and a half years or so. As a result, I`ve come to learn a lot about the city. And the more I learn about Hachinohe, the more it feels like home. I visit six different schools on the job, but my base school is Shirogane Minami junior high school. I also participate in the adult conversation classes and Kid`s Day events that are held at the center. If you ever happen to see me somewhere, don`t be afraid to say hello!

はじめまして
私の名前はスミス・マシューです。アメリカのコネチカット州から来ました。コネチカット州はボストン市とニューヨーク市の間にあります。私は二年間半ぐらい八戸でALTとして働きました。お陰で八戸について色々なことを知るようになりました。そしてその知識が増えれば増えるほど八戸は私の故郷のように感じます。仕事で六校の学校へ行きますが、私のベーススクールは白銀南中学校です。その上にセンターの市民英会話とALTと話そうというイベントに参加します。どこかで私を見たら、どうぞ声をかけてください。
